Angiogenesis is a process of the formation of new capillaries from a pre-existing vasculature. Angiogenesis is a key process in some physiological conditions such as wound healing, growth, and action of female reproductive organs. And the disturbance of process is a associated with the overproliferation of blood vessels, such as cancers.
