C-Raf is one of the members of the Raf family, possess a Ras-binding domain (RBD) in their N-terminal regulatory region and can function as effectors of active GTP-bound. C-Raf can be activated by the human oncogene RAS family, downstream from which exerts both kinase-dependent and kinase-independent, tumor-promoting functions.
