Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the primary malignancy of hepatocytes. When diagnosed at early stages, it is treatable with locoregional treatments including surgical resection, Radio-Frequency Ablation, Trans-Arterial Chemoembolization or liver transplantation.
