Intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) is a devastating form of stroke with high morbidity and mortality. ICH results from the rupture of small vessels generally located deep within the brain in the basal ganglia, thalamus, pons, or cerebellum, related to long-standing hypertension (HTN).
