Peripheral nervous system (PNS), together with the central nervous system (CNS), brain stem, cerebellum, spinal cord, and various nerves produced by the central nervous system, make up the nervous system. PNS can be divided into the third to twelfth cranial nerves that supply the head and the spinal nerves that supply the upper and lower limbs.
