Unfolded protein-response (UPR) is a cellular stress response aboutthe endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress. Unfolded protein response (UPR), acts as homeostatic signalling network that orchestrates the recovery of ER function, and failure to adapt to ER stress results in apoptosis.
