Background
Cyanine3.5 alkyne is a fluorophore that reacted with azides by copper-catalyzed click reaction. It is particularly suitable for the detection and labeling of azide-containing molecules/ biomolecules with fluorescence spectroscopy after azide-alkyne cycloaddition. This dye is not water-soluble, but it can be efficiently attached to water-soluble molecules (e.g protein or peptides) with organic co-solvent (DMSO or DMF).
