Background

GRL-0617 is an inhibitor of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus (SARS-CoV) and SARS-CoV-2 papain-like proteases (PL^pros; IC₅₀s = 0.6 and 1.5 ?M, respectively).^1,2 It increases the viability of SARS-CoV-infected Vero E6 cells (EC₅₀ = 14.5 ?M).¹ GRL-0617 (6.25-50 ?M) reduces viral replication in SARS-CoV-2-infected Caco-2 cells.²
