Background

Decitabine-¹⁵N₄ is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of decitabine . Decitabine is a 2'-deoxy analog of 5-azacytidine that induces dose-dependent inhibition of DNA methyltransferases and hypomethylation of DNA.^1,2,3 This action is useful in conditions characterized by DNA hypermethylation, as is found in myelodysplastic syndromes.⁴
