An inactive metabolite of celecoxib
Hydroxy celecoxib is an inactive metabolite of celecoxib .1 It is formed from celecoxib by the cytochrome P450 (CYP) isoforms CYP2C9, CYP3A4, and CYP2D6 in human liver microsomes.2
