Background

19-alkyne Cholesterol is an alkyne derivative of cholesterol .¹ It has been used to track cholesterol localization and subcellular distribution in NIH3T3 cells and to study the role of cholesterol in hedgehog (Hh) signal transduction in Shh-LIGHT2 cells using click chemistry and various reporter azides.
