N-Palmitoyl-L-aspartate is a natural N-acylaspartate that inhibits Hedgehog signaling after stimulation with Smoothened agonist or non-sterol-modified Sonic Hedgehog. It does not alter the activity of cannabinoid receptors or fatty acid amide hydrolase.
