Background

Nifursol is an antiprotozoal.1 Dietary administration of nifursol (37.5-100 ppm) reduces morbidity and mortality in a turkey model of histomoniasis. Formulations containing nifursol have previously been used in the prevention of histomoniasis in poultry.
