Suitable for DNA electrophoresis
Agarose, a natural polysaccharide, which consists of D-galactose and 3,6-anhydro-L-galactopyranose [1]. Agarose has a wide range of physical, chemical and thermal stability, because of its greatest gelling ability that it acquires wide applications in biotechnology [2], such as agarose gel electrophoresis, protein purification, solid culture media, motility assays.
