Background

Destruxin A is a cyclic hexadepsipeptide mycotoxin first isolated from O. destructor and commonly found in entomopathogenic fungi.¹ It has insecticidal activity by affecting diverse pathways, including those related to immune response, calcium signaling, and development.^2,3
