Background

Flunisolide is a fluorinated corticosteroid receptor agonist that induces reversible pyloric hyalinization in CD-1 mice following oral administration at a dose of 200 μg/kg per day.¹ Formulations containing flunisolide have been used for the treatment of asthma.²
