A peptide substrate for AMPK
AMARA peptide is a synthetic peptide substrate for AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK).1 It contains a serine at position seven that is subject to phosphorylation by AMPK and has been used to monitor AMPK activity in vitro and in vivo.1,2
